More than 20 million pilgrims have participated in the Arba’aen Walk from different countries to express their condolences to Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

Along the road leading from Najaf to Karbala, various free service stations have been distributed.  What has been striking this year is the increase in the number of cultural processions (Mawakeb). Various topics have been highlighted, including: condemnation of the blatant attack on the Holy Qur’an, the oppression of the Palestinian people, the danger of LGBTQ+, and the role of martyrs in paving the way for our oppressed nations in West Asia & beyond.

At Column 494, a cultural procession has been held under the title “Na’eb al-Shaheed”  joined by scores of volunteers from the Axis of Resistance countries, including: Lebanon,  Iraq, Iran, etc, who have exerted extreme efforts and time to serve in this procession (Mawkeb), the importance of which lies in the fact that it binds the bonds of resistance communities. Besides, it contributes to spreading the culture of martyrdom & sacrifice against the US-Zionist hegemonic schemes. It also introduces others to the great role of the martyrs in preserving the nation from the danger of infidelity, imperialism, and hostility to Islam.

Several activities have been organised on the sidelines of the procession (Mawkeb), the aim of which was to strengthen youth work in serving & supporting the pro-resistance project.  From Lebanon, the daughter of the martyr Ayman Fakih has confirmed that she will follow her father’s path in serving the people and supporting the helpless oppressed nation.

The significance of this project, which was founded by Dr. Hussein Amarian and a group of the sons of the martyrs – with sincere efforts & very modest capabilities – is to confront the malicious seditious attempts that have repeatedly sought to create artificial gabs between the martyrs.

The main goal of this project is for generations to well-recognise the greatness of the efforts of the martyrs and the great sacrifices they have made in order to defend the dignity of the entire nation and not specific geographical borders, and this is what has been proven by the martyrdom of the torchbearers of victory, Hajj Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis.

In accordance with the will of the founder of the Islamic Revolution, Sayyed Khomeini (R), and in light of the systematic cultural aggression we are currently experiencing, which is systematically trying to distort the identity of our youth, we are most in need of the commandments and the thoughts of our great martyrs. Hence, being “Na’eb al-Shaheed” i.e. to performing deeds and rituals on behalf of those martyrs strengthens the relation of those young people with their culture. This in itself is a message to the global arrogance that seeks to distort their faith, and distract them from their primary mission, which is to confront their imperialist conspiracies.  Young women are also vulnerable to this systematic war, as malicious feminist thought pumps its poisons into their minds in an attempt to divert them from their chastity and their lofty role in building civilisation, as the issue of the Hijab has become the main concern of the corporate media, which relentlessly spreads lies about this Islamic concept.  Our youth are intended to be slaves of arrogance, but what we want for the youth is for them to follow the example of the martyrs and to cling to their values, heroism, and courage.

The “Na’eb al-Shaheed” procession is a modest step in the confrontation project that requires support, promotion, and expansion because the danger that threatens us at all levels is highly alerting.  The message of “Na’eb al-Shaheed” procession’s servants is that the precious pure blood of the martyrs will not be wasted in vain, no matter what sacrifices this requires.
